NAOMI BUENO DE MESQUITA

Naomi Bueno de Mesquita (1979) is a spatial designer with a Bachelor (cumlaude) in Architectural Design obtained at Gerrit Rietveld Academy, Amsterdam and a Master in Design, Art and Public Space obtained at Elisava/ Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona. After completing her Master she worked as teacher at the Art School Estudio Nomada in Barcelona, with the subject Interventions in Public Space. Naomi has lived in different countries (Jerusalem, Amsterdam, Rome and Barcelona) for large periods of her life. Since February 2014 she is doing a PhD at KU Leuven for the European
Research Program TRADERS (short for ‘Training Art and Design Researchers for Participation in Public Space’). Her research in Multiple Performative Mapping explores collaborative forms of mapping in the construction of and debate about public space.
