It’s less then 30 min before the orange garbage van is expected to arrive. Now the installation covers the whole cardboard bin.

 

More and more people from the block, neighbours and shop personnel bring empty cans, bottles and cardboard. Other rubbish. When they see the installation, their foreheads crease with agitation. Amused. Curious. Confused. They navigate how and where to place their rubbish, going about it hesitantly and with care.

 

The woman places her refuse towards the rear but then takes a step back to look at the installation. As if to see the effect of what she did.

brings empty cream cans.
 Unsure where to put them.
 Picks out a spot in the composition.

 

The third woman 
is standing a bit helpless, 
not knowing where to leave her offering.

 

All are contributing to the installation, 
co-creating 
a cardboard sculpture 
that is now almost scheduled to be taken away.
